TUITION FEES
Neither LMU nor TU Munich charge tuition fees for the international master's programme in Geophysics. However, there is a small fee for student services and a basic "semester ticket" for public transport. Further information and current numbers can be found here.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Geophysics and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences do not offer scholarships or other financial aids. There might be the possibility to work as a student worker with us, but this depends on job openings being available.

For registered students LMU offers some scholarship programmes. Note that funds are quite limited and grants are competitive.
ACCOMODATION
Finding affordable accomodation in Munich can be quite a challenge. Please note that LMU Geophysics is in no position to provide help in this respect. Also note that, contrary to other countries, German universities typically do not operate dormitories. You will need to find accommodation on your own.

INTERCULTURAL COUNSELING
In case you should have problems adjusting to life in Germany or the German academic system LMU's institute of intercultural communication provides intercultural counseling.
