I am a space plasma physicist and Heisenberg research group leader. My research is focused on the assessment and prediction the dynamics of space plasmas and is based on three pillars: spacecraft observations, modeling and participation in the development of future missions.

I am a Co-Investigator of the RAPID instrument on the Cluster mission (ESA).
