Conjugate Gradients and GMRES
In this seminar we plan to give an introduction to so called Krylov Subspace Methods for the iterative solution of sparse linear systems of equations. We will place special focus on the Conjugate Gradient (CG) method and the Generalised Minimal Residual Method (GMRES).
