Master Geophysics: Courses in the Summer Term

Plan for summer term 2020

Due to the current situation and the probability that onsite courses will still not be allowed during April at least, we are currently in the process of reorganising courses to be available in online form. As of 02 April we plan to offer the following courses in an interactive online fashion using zoom:

• P 3.1 / 3.2 Computational Geophysics
• P 3.3 / 3.4 Scientific Programming
• P 4.2 Seismology
• P 4.3 / 4.4 Paleo- and Geomagnetism
• WP 3.1 Modern Paleo- and Geomagnetism

The following course will also be available in an online fashion, details are pending

• WP 2.1 Modern Seismology

The two courses

• P 2.4 Geophysical Data Acquisition and Analysis
• WP 1.1 Modern Geodynamics

had been planned as block courses for the end of semester anyway, so there is currently no change here. A decision on what will be done for

• P 4.1 Geodynamics

is still pending.
