Best Student Presentation Award for Berta Vilacis

Our UPLIFT doctoral student Berta Vilacis won the award for Best Student Presentation in the Section on Seismology and Physics of the Earth Interior at the 10th Spanish-Portuguese Assembly of Geodesy and Geophysics in Toledo for her presentation on

"Mapping active upper mantle flow using continental-scale hiatus surfaces in the Atlantic and Indo-Australian Realms since the Upper Jurassic"

co-authored by Jorge Hayek, Ingo Stotz, Hans-Peter Bunge, Anke Friedrich, Sara Carena and Stuart Clark.
