This winter we are organizing a winter school in Earth SKIence that will be held in Sudelfeld in February 20-25, 2011. The announcement is attached. This is a hands on training (call it "getting started") with three specific computational tools. It should be interesting in particular to those intending to simulate wave fields in highly complex media and those who want to use regular grid spectral element tools for waveform inversion.
