Abstract
In this paper we consider a 2D model for the electrocardiographic inverse problem. By a classical 5-point stencil discretization we get an overdetermined sparse system of equations. We firstly derive a model verification procedure based on the solution of a well-posed direct problem. Then we solve the system by a classical CG algorithm, but with two special stopping rules, according to the "discrepancy principle" for numerical solution of inverse problems.
