Studying at a German university is no longer free of charge in all cases. Several German states have introduced tuition fees at their universities. Among these is the Free State of Bavaria. Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München currently charges the following fees per semester:

Geophysics and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences do not offer scholarships or other financial aids. There might be the possibility to work as a student worker with us, but this depends on job openings being available.
